A global evidence review of systemic factors influencing participation in pharmacy professional development activities

Abstract Background Changes to the pharmacy profession have meant that a degree can no longer serve as an endpoint professional training within pharmacy. Continuing learning and are imperative in order provide high-quality healthcare services. Methods Relevant literature was identified through systematic search of following databases: EMBASE, (CINAHL Plus, SCOPUS, PsysINFO, PubMed, Australian Index (AEI) British (BEI). Results Two hundred eighty-seven studies were screened, thirty-two included this review.
